Both LASIK and iContact Lens (Implantable Contact Lens) procedures alter the way light rays enter the eye to achieve sharper focus.
LASIK removes tissue from the eye’s cornea to change its shape permanently. Whilst iContact Lens function like glasses or contact lenses and do not require tissue to be removed from the eye. Unlike LASIK, the iContact Lens procedure does not permanently change the shape of the eye.
If you have moderate to high myopia with thin cornea and are unsuitable for LASIK, iContact Lens procedure may improve your natural distance vision without the use of glasses or contact lens.
